The conference will only consider original papers for review that have not been previously published or are not currently under review by another conference or journal. The submissions will be reviewed for technical merits and relevance to the conference. Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings by the IEEE.
Preparing Your Manuscript:
Manuscripts must be formatted according to the IEEE double-column
standard format, except the font size, which must be 11pt. Authors
should use only standard fonts, i.e., Times Roman, Courier, Symbol, and
Helvetica, or their equivalent. The maximum length of the manuscripts
for full papers is 10 pages, including all text, figures, tables and references.
All papers must be submitted in PDF (Portable Document Format). Postscript and MSWord files should be converted to PDF before submission.
The IEEE LaTeX and Microsoft Word style files and the related information can be obtained from the IEEE Site. Please use font size of 11pt and do not exceed the page length limits. Please ensure that page numbers are printed. This can be done in LaTeX with the IEEEtrans.cls package by using "\documentclass[]{IEEEtrans}" in the LaTeX preamble. Author bios need not be included in submitted papers.
Submission Instructions:
Paper submission is managed by the EDAS system.
If you do not have an EDAS account, please create one first. To submit a paper to SECON 2006,
please first register your paper with the EDAS system. Please indicate
the appropriate "Topics Keywords" when registering your paper, choosing the topics that are closest to the paper contents (at most two). Upon
successful registration, you will receive instructions for uploading
your paper to the system. Note that paper registration is due April 6,
2006 by 5pm EDT. The full paper must be submitted for review by April
12, 2006, ** FIVE PM EDT **.
Papers that have been improperly submitted or improperly formatted by the submission date will not be considered. To avoid last minute problems, authors are advised to submit their papers well before the deadline. Thank you for your understanding.
